Here are some resources discovered over time, many I revisit time and time again.
Grateful for all of the caring women who've had the courage to write and share about their experiences. Most included here are involuntarily childless women. And, many of these resources are rich with other resource recommendations themselves. This list of resources continuously grows...

Some background...
Silent Sorority, written by Pamela Mahoney Tsigninos, is the first book I read on the experience of childlessness. I read it in less than a day. Reading this book felt like an awakening and marks when I first realized I was not alone. Not alone with the profound sadness and isolation I felt while struggling to accept that I would never be a mom. And not alone in taking washroom time-outs when out with friends bonding over parenting conversations, or when trying to avoid 'the question'.
Then, I came across Jody Day's Gateway Women website and her book, Living the Life Unexpected. Always thankful for this discovery. Jody has dedicated herself to creating a global network for involuntarily childless women and offers incredible supports in many forms - articles, newsletters, weekend workshops, an online program, a gallery of role models, reading groups, free webinars and an online community. The Gateway Women online community provides a safe place to read other women's stories, share experiences and find genuine understanding and warm support. I credit Jody and all she offers and shares for helping me move through heavy grief - and for opportunities to make precious new friendships and feel fully engaged in female group conversation again.
